Free practical guide

Before you buy more traffic, check these six things.

Use your own website. You do not need special software to spot the obvious friction.

01 · Can a stranger understand the offer?

Read the first screen. Does it say what you do, who it is for and where you work? Ask somebody unfamiliar with the business to explain it back to you.

02 · Can they use it on a phone?

Open the site on a small screen. Read the text, open the menu and find the contact action. Check for sideways scrolling, covered buttons and fields that are difficult to tap.

03 · Does the browser show a secure connection?

Check for HTTPS and browser security warnings. Modern browsers do not all show a padlock. A secure connection protects data in transit; it does not prove the business or its claims are trustworthy.

04 · Is there a reason to believe you?

Look for relevant work, accurate service details, real photographs or permissioned client feedback. Remove unsupported numbers and outdated offers.

05 · Does the enquiry reach the right person?

Arrange an authorised test with whoever handles enquiries. Check delivery, spam folders and the reply process. A button that displays “sent” is not proof the message reached the business.

06 · Does the next step match the promise?

Follow the main button. Check that the package, price, currency and required commitments stay clear. Make it easy to return, ask a question or correct a choice.

Fix the break, then measure again.

A failed check does not automatically mean you need a whole new website. Start with the issue that prevents a customer understanding, trusting or contacting you.
